Applying to high-level engineering positions requires tailoring every resume and cover letter to match specific technology stacks and company needs. Doing this manually for 20+ roles takes days of repetitive editing, while cloud-based AI tools risk sending private candidate data to third-party databases.
AI Job Search was created as an open-source, local-first framework that runs directly on the developer’s laptop.
What I built
- Job Postings Evaluator: Autonomous scraper and analyzer that parses role requirements, identifies key engineering competencies, and scores alignment against the candidate’s background.
- Tailored Resume Generator: Dynamic generation of CV sections emphasizing relevant accomplishments for each specific company without fabricating facts.
- Cover Letter & Outreach Drafter: Generates personalized, professional outreach emails and cover letters matching the company’s culture.
- Interview Prep Intelligence: Generates likely technical questions, architecture discussion prompts, and reverse-interview questions for each hiring manager.
