The situation
Most off-the-shelf commerce platforms lock businesses into slow hosted themes, vendor lock-in, and monthly recurring fees. On the other hand, custom e-commerce builds often stall in the tedious plumbing: session cookies, auth, Stripe webhook verification, variant matrices, and coupon calculations.
DyeRich (White-Label Commerce Starter) was built as a clean, production-hardened platform where developers and brands can customize the visuals and launch in days, not months.
What I built
- Modern Full-Stack Architecture: Built on Next.js 15 (App Router), React 19, and TypeScript with type-safe server actions and database queries using Drizzle ORM.
- Stripe Checkout & Webhooks: Bulletproof payment flow handling successful charges, customer receipts, order state machines, and refund lifecycles with idempotent webhook verification.
- Better Auth Integration: Secure authentication supporting modern credential logins, user sessions, role-based admin guards, and password resets.
- Live Theme & Dynamic Branding Engine: Category-neutral configuration allowing merchants to switch palettes, upload logos, extract dominant theme colors, and rebrand the entire storefront instantly.
- Multi-Currency & Tax Books: Clean database schema supporting international pricing, localized currency display, and configurable tax rules.
- Admin Control Center: Operations dashboard to manage products, catalog variants, stock levels, orders, and promotion codes.
The tech stack
- Frontend & Server: Next.js 15, React 19, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui.
- Database & ORM: PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM with migration pipelines.
- Auth & Payments: Better Auth, Stripe SDK & Webhook handlers.
- Testing & Quality: Playwright end-to-end test suites, ESLint, TypeScript strict mode.
What this means for you
If you need a custom e-commerce website, a bespoke marketplace, or a subscription checkout that doesn’t feel like a template, I can build and launch it with high performance and zero monthly platform lock-in.
